Vacancy: CAVA Community Development Worker

Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action (CAVA) is recruiting a Community Development Worker.

Salary: £27,396 per annum

Hours: 

  • Full-time 37 hours per week
  • Part-time negotiable with prorated salary
  • Hybrid working and flexible working hours.

Duration: Fixed term post for 18 months with potential for extension
Closing date: Monday, 12th September 2022 at 9.00am

CAVA is seeking a Community Development Worker to work with residents in the Clopton and Bishopton communities of Stratford upon Avon, to connect and strengthen both communities and reduce social exclusion.

The post holder will listen to the needs of these communities and support them in coordinating and building new initiatives. The aim is to improve links between services, local groups, new initiatives and the community, and to enable increased community activity.
