We shall be in the store from 9.00 am until 5.00 pm each day to receive donations from shoppers.
We would be very grateful to anyone able to help us for an hour or two on any of these days. We are particularly in need of helpers on Thursday, Saturday and on Friday afternoon.
The winter food drive is an important opportunity for us to boost our stocks before the new year when we tend to see quite a drop in regular donations. This year we are more dependent on this boost than ever as we are seeing a 100% increase in the number of people needing our help compared to the same time last year. We are now regularly having to buy in food to make up shortfalls in donations and this is often amounting to £500 in a week.
