What is the VCSE Innovation Fund?
As part of the Community Mental Health Transformation (CMHT), an Innovation Fund of a minimum of £300,000 in 2022/23, followed by another £300,000 in 2023/24, will be distributed to VCSE partners to fund targeted and specific projects addressing local health and life inequalities for people with severe mental health problems.
Organisations can apply for up to £25,000. We want to fund projects that demonstrate they can have a positive impact on the mental health or wellbeing for residents of Coventry and Warwickshire.
What are we looking for?
- Bids for funding must be Trauma Informed and/or Address Health Inequalities
- Applications will be marked via a point system and applications with 4+ points will be considered for progression
- Only bids based in Coventry and/or Warwickshire, with a focus of improving mental health or wellbeing of over 18s, will be considered.
When is the deadline for applications?
Pot 1: Bids <= £3k
Unfortunately we are unable to accept applications for this pot at present.
Pot 2: Bids over £3k up to 25k
Applications should be received 7 working days before the panel is to be held so our VCSE fund administrator can prepare the paperwork and send to the panel members at least one week before the meeting.
Deadline for Pot 2 applications: 12 noon, Thursday 30th June 2022
We aim to inform applicants of a decision within 7 working days of the panel meeting but this depends on staff availability.
