Support Services
(BOSS)
CAVA recognise the need for charities and not for profit groups to locate support for their central services like payroll, Accountancy, IT support, telecoms and HR. A number of these suppliers have been used by CAVA and are recommended on this basis. We also try and source wider providers who are open to enquiries for support based on recommendation. Please note these are sources of contact and we cannot confirm capacity at the time of enquiry. If you have any queries on this support or are a supplier who might add to this offer please contact tracy@wcava.org.uk
Accountancy
Are you a CEO/Trustee/founder of a charity or not-for-profit organisation? Do you wear all the hats all at the same time? Are you continually juggling the demands of fundraising, serving the people you are passionate about helping, and demonstrating sound governance…….. whilst often very reliant on the goodwill of fabulous volunteers for key roles? (And aren’t they always just not available at key moments?). Do the finances always end up at the bottom of the ‘to do’ pile because your time is taken up with everything else? And salaries are a huge stress at the end of each month? Running a charity is really hard work!
How would it feel to know that the finance side was all in hand and taken care of? Systems and processes all running as they should, ensuring charity assets are safeguarded? Payments to staff and suppliers all happening on time? Regular and relevant management reports easily obtained (with analysis if required) for the Trustees, funders and potential donors? Wouldn’t that feel AMAZING?
Contact us to find out how the team at Beeston-Clarke Accountants can support you and your Charity to make this happen.
Research
Tiller Research specialise in providing evaluation and research support to not-for-profit organisations, and are experienced in working with charitable, voluntary and community sector organisations of all sizes. They offer support to plan and undertake evaluations of projects, services and whole organisations. High quality evaluation supports effective strategic planning, and enables the continuous improvement of services to enhance outcomes for clients, beneficiaries and partners. It is often an essential component of reporting to funders, and provides quality evidence to support a funding application. Tiller Research offers bespoke evaluation support, with typical projects including: creating an evaluation plan; developing internal evaluation capabilities by supporting staff to develop their skills and processes; undertaking data collection, e.g. surveys, interviews or focus groups; analysing an organisation’s own data; writing evaluation reports for internal or external audiences. Warwickshire CAVA members will benefit from reduced rates, no charges for VAT, and a free initial consultation.
