Guidance |
CAVA aims to support the Voluntary and Community Sector in Warwickshire and Solihull by circulating news, funding information, community events, training etc to our members on a regular basis. |
|
Our bi-weekly newsletter (E-Grapevine) is circulated to approx 2,100 addresses, providing you with a great opportunity to promote your services and events across the county free of charge. We also produce a monthly Solihull bulletin, keeping you updated with local news and opportunities in the region. |
|
If you would like to submit information to E-Grapevine, please take note of the following:- |
- The Marketing and Communication Team undertake to produce between 24 – 28 issues per year. Publication breaks will be highlighted in relevant issues.
- E-Grapevine is a bi-weekly publication, circulated every other Tuesday.
- Article deadline: Friday (5.00pm) prior to the publication date. If information is received after that time, we cannot guarantee that it will be included immediately – it is more likely that the information will be included in the following issue.
- Information to be e-mailed to news@wcava.org.uk
- Information provided is to be a short narrative, of no more than 150 words. Please ensure that full contact details (and website links) are included – this will ensure that additional information can be accessed easily.
- Supporting information can also be forwarded, for editorial reference purposes only.
- All volunteering opportunities will be included in the order in which they are received (please note a waiting list is in place and so unless urgent, opportunities may not be included immediately – please allow plenty of time).
- All organisations promoting volunteering opportunities within E-Grapevine must be registered with a Warwickshire Volunteer Centre.
- When submitting information, please note that it is your responsibility to check its authenticity. It is also your responsibility to ensure that the information provided is for general knowledge/use. Once the Marketing and Communication Team receives this information they will assume that this has been clarified and the information will be published.
- CAVA reserves the right to edit any information submitted for E-Grapevine.
- CAVA also reserves the right to decide what information will be included.
- Please state clearly if you wish your information to also be included on the CAVA website.
